My name is Sara and I am currently a second grade teacher near Orlando. I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelors degree in elementary education and a Master’s degree in elementary education with a speciliazation in technology. I was born in Gainesville, and raised a Gator, so going to the University of Florida just seemed natural. I was a sister of Phi Mu, and made lifelong friends!
A beach day spent with sisters and friends
In August 2012 I started my first teaching job at a Catholic School in my hometown. I am currently teaching second grade and loving it! I love seeing the pure joy on a student’s face when they discover something new.
Outside of school I have developed quite the passion for photography. This began back when I was in about 5th grade and I got my hands on my very first digital camera. Since then I have made my way through SEVERAL digital cameras, and finally found one I love. I shoot most of my pictures with my trusy Nikon D40, I also use my iPhone, and little digital camera occasionally.
Traveling is also something that I love. Growing up my family always took vacations somewhere out west. My dad wanted us to see all the great National Parks. These types of vacation have become a tradition in my family, and I hope to one day take my children on similar trips. I have also traveled on my own, from a simple roadtrip to see the Gators play to backpacking across Europe for an entire month.

During the 2010 year I challenged myself to take one picture EVERYDAY (Project 365). This is what encouraged me to first make a blog. Since I finished Project 365 I have continued to use this blog to share my life in words and photographs with my friends and family.
I hope you enjoy!
