Day Thirty Seven

Today was Saturday…and I was up at the crack of dawn…literally SEVEN AM! No idea why either, I went to bed around 2 AM. (Crazy!) My mom ran a race for Breast Cancer in Mead Gardens (a park behind my house) When she came home both of us went to the Farmer’s Market. The Farmer’s Market is held every Saturday! It is a great people sell everything from flowers…to Gator shirts for dogs (no lie I saw those!) We ran into a lot of family friends there. My mom needed to get an orchid for a friend, but she ended up getting one for herself as well. The picture of today is of the orchid she got her friend Denise (I had to hold it in the car so it was easy to document) This picture only shows one of the blooms, but there were so many on the plant! I just really liked how the red in the background contrasted with the white of the flower.

I spent the rest of the day hanging out at home. We went to 5 pm mass, which made me realize how much I miss my church. It is SO much better than the church I go to in Gainesville. I love getting to see people I know (I feel like I know everyone at my church!) I also got to see some of my favorite kids that I babysit for! :)! After Church my mom, grandparents, Bailey (dog) and I headed for the beach. We were going to watch the shuttle launch…you will hear about that tomorrow…It is scheduled to launch at 4:39 AM. I also finished reading my book for childrens literature Gossamer by Lois Lowry. It was an excellent book, very strange and unique but in a good way :)! (it was all about Dreams and how we get them…very interesting)
